I was born in Cuba, where I discovered my love for teaching and helping others. I studied Biology and Chemistry, earned a master’s degree in Science Education, and worked as a teacher before moving to the United States.

I came to Texas with my family, big dreams, and the hope of building a future here. Learning English, starting over, and working toward our first home taught me how much it means to have a place of your own.
